Printer reviews: Making ICC printer profiles with the i1 iSis
How I make the ICC printer profiles for all my printer and paper reviews.
How and why I make profiles using i1Profiler software and i1 iSis scanning spectrophotometer. How many patches are needed and other aspects of profile creation and measurement. I first reviewed the i1 iSis back in 2007, using GMB’s ProfileMaker software. The iSis supports optical brightener compensation [OBC], which is covered in a review:

There is a section later in the video about using my specialist B&W test image for checking print linearity.
