DxO Optics Pro V9.5 adds much tighter integration with Lightroom
I’ve used DxO Optics Pro for many years as an alternative RAW camera file processing engine. With the latest update it now works much more tightly with Adobe Lightroom.
My most recent in-depth review looked at V9.1 of the software, running as a stand-alone package. In normal use I do most of my subsequent editing using Photoshop.

If you are a Lightroom user then V9.5 brings a potentially very useful update to your workflow. I don’t use Lightroom at all – it offers nothing I need that is any advantage over my Photoshop based workflows.
However, it is a tool I often suggest to people looking to take their digital photography on a step, and I know that many working professional photographers find that it meets their needs very well.
Rather than expand on my lack of detailed Lightroom knowledge much further, I’ll just point you to DxO’s web site, where the interaction is explained further.

Keith explains tilt and shift lenses
Keith has written a book that looks at the many ways that tilt/shift lenses can benefit your photography from a technical and creative point of view. If not in the UK check for import issues and maybe try an on-line bookshop. Keith has no connection with sales of the book.
