Datacolor have announced a new survey related to colour management use. Responses are invited up to Christmas 2021

For UK entrants there is a prize draw available

We’re strong believers that colour management need not be complex and have many articles and reviews aimed at demystifying it. This includes making it a key part of all our bespoke photography training.

We strongly believe that a ‘professional photographer’ who doesn’t understand the fundamentals of colour management casts doubt on their use of the word ‘professional’.

Datacolor colour management survey

Press info:

Datacolor, a global leader of colour management solutions in photography, has announced the chance for photographers, both amateur and professional, to win a choice of one of its SpyderX bundles by completing a short survey.

The short survey aims to provide an insight into the UK photography community, looking into the effects that colour management has on photographer’s work.

Datacolor last ran this survey back in 2019, and had just under 400 respondents aiding them to understand what modern day photographers need. With videography gaining popularity due to more versatile and sophisticated camera systems and the popularity of video on Internet platforms, and more and more images being printed or produced by print services in high quality and size, it is time to conduct a new Color Management Survey.

Three lucky entrants will be picked at random to win their choice of either a SpyderX Create Kit or a SpyderX Capture Pro kit with over £200. The bundles all include the SpyderX, an elite calibration tool designed to calibrate monitors so you can work with the correct colours.

The survey will run until Christmas, and is only open for UK citizens. The winner will be contacted by email. You can enter the survey here
