At Photokina, Epson have announced the SP4900 replacement for the 4880, and the 7890/9890 replacements for the 7880/9880.
Note: Epson have informed us that the 4880 will remain a current product and that the 4900 is more aimed at the proofing market.

I’ve been trying out the Epson R2880 A3+ pigment ink printer.
It uses the newer UltraChrome K3 Vivid Magenta inks and produced some great looking prints, both colour and black and white.
