I’ve got a box of medium format Mamiya lenses for a 645 film camera. Since the chances of me shooting film are pretty negligible (and essentially non-existent for commercial work) I was wondering what to do with these M645 Sekor lenses
I’ve an adapter to fit them on a Canon EF mount camera, but I’ve only limited interest in actually using them for real, as manual focus lenses.
However it struck me that the MF lenses have a good size image circle (to cover medium format film), even larger than my new Canon TS-E 17mm and TS-E 24mm lenses.
Adapters are not usually cheap, but I found a reasonable one on eBay from the Ukraine.
Anyway, I’ve written a longer article showing the results from:
Using some Mamiya 645 Sekor C lenses (35, 55, 80 and 210mm) with a shift adapter on my Canon 1Ds Mk3
Mamiya Sekor C 35/3.5 lens on canon 1Ds3
