When can you take my photos?

We can sometimes fit in work at only a few days notice, especially for smaller items. Our aim is to accommodate your requirements and provide commercial product photography that fits in with your plans.

industrial product photographyDo you work on location?

We are happy to discuss bringing equipment to your factory for location based product photography. This is particularly so for our range of Industrial Photography services.

The image to the right was taken for a brochure for industrial control equipment.

How much does all this cost?

We can always provide written quotations and agree costs in advance - please give us a call if you would like to discuss a project or get a firmer estimate for your product photography requirements.

All commercial photography prices are for guidance only and exclude VAT.

Pricing for our packshot small item product photography service is based on number of items, the number of shots of each item and the final usage of the images (web and/or print). Collection and return of items is usually the client's responsibility, although we can arrange for this if needed.

For more complex sets and lighting we may charge on a time basis rather than per item (see our commercial rates) - please give us a call if you would like to discuss what you need.

Our general prices are for smaller items (less than 40cm cubed). If you have specific requirements for large items, just let us know.

Images are colour corrected, but otherwise not retouched in any way. Additional specialist image manipulation (Photoshop) is by prior arrangement and depends on the type of work undertaken. It is charged on an hourly basis at £88 per hour or part thereof.

Prices per item (excl. VAT)

For two or more images of the same item - 40% reduction (ie for 10-19 rate the first image of the item would be £24, while subsequent shots of the same item would be £14.40)

Training / education / presentations

A lot of people are trying to bring an understanding of colour management to their business. The advantages, such as 'getting it right first time' can quickly translate into a quicker turnaround -- and increased profitability. However, there is still a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to how to best introduce such changes. Call us for independent advice and specialised training -- let us evaluate your workflow.

More details in our Colour Management services page

Keith offers individual tuition and training courses to companies and private individuals. Recently this has included helping an upmarket Estate Agency improve both the quality of its photographs -and- the quality/accuracy of its printed brochures. For more examples of the kind of topics covered, see our teaching page or our Lectures/seminars section. We have a page specifically devoted to digital product photography courses.

In addition to the training outlined on our Mac Services page, Keith Cooper is a qualified Adult Education tutor and runs a number of local training courses covering such items as:

  • Digital Photography (introductory/intermediate level).
  • Photography without a darkroom (intermediate/advanced level).
  • Technical aspects include: digital cameras, scanning film, printing and Colour management.
  • Photoshop for Photographers.

Several on-line versions of his courses are available on this site. An example from his introductory digital photography course covers Basic Image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2. Over time we hope to add on-line tutorials based on many of Keith's courses.
