Using Photoshop soft proofing (with out of gamut colours set to show as red) the different icc profiles are shown
This picture shows four instances of a colour photo opened in Photoshop. Using soft proofing, out of gamut pixels are replaced with red ones. Four different printer profiles have been used. They are (clockwise from top left)
- Epson 1290 Photo Paper
- PrintFIX generated icc profile
- Epson 1290 Premium Glossy Photo Paper (PGPP)
- Epson 1290 Photo Quality Inkjet
The image (Old John, Bradgate Park, Leicester) is the same one used in our converting colour to Black and White article.
