Although based in Leicester, Northlight Photography covers the entire UK, particularly the East and West Midlands with our commercial photography services.
Our commercial landscape photography, venue photography and corporate event photograpy is available throughout the UK.
Our photographs are always supplied to meet your needs, whether for web or print use. They come with all our expertise in colour management and high quality reproduction. Some more examples of how we helped clients with their corporate photography requirements are shown below.
The shape of the kitchen above, requires a very wide angle shot, which introduces considerable distortion.
We provided a series of fully corrected images at very high resolution, and liased with the client's printers to ensure optimal brochure reproduction for a promotional campaign.
Note that the brief for this photo was to provide an accurate image of the kitchen as installed. That's why it hasn't been decorated with the usual 'props' you will find in kitchen brochures

Interior Design and Lifestyle photography

Web catalogues and brochures
Part of a collection of advertising images of furniture, provided for web and brochure use.
The images included some particularly dark wood where great care was taken to show the grain.
This particular image has also had perspective correction applied.
Furniture catalogue (web and print)
Clothing
One of over four hundred items of clothing photographed for a trade catalogue. Individual pictures were printed about 50% smaller than this web image as cutouts.
Images were supplied to the catalogue designers on the same day as the shoot.
OK, it's a pretty horrid bit of clothing :-) , but the point is -- the designers had the images in their hands the same day (we can burn CDs for you on location if need be)

We provide images in digital formats to suit -your- requirements, typically 'print ready' at 300dpi in either tiff or Photoshop psd formats. However if you want JPEGs then that's OK with us. We can produce CD based 'web galleries' of your images and will quote for any additional image enhancement or processing work that you may require.
We can sometimes fit in work at only a few days notice, especially in the Leicestershire and East Midlands region. Our aim is to accomodate your requirements and provide commercial photography that fits in with your plans.
How much does all this cost?
We will always provide written quotations and agree costs in advance. Keith offers individual tuition and training courses to companies and private individuals. A recent example included helping an upmarket Estate Agency improve both the quality of its photographs -and- the quality/accuracy of its printed brochures.

Keith Cooper is a qualified Adult Education tutor and runs a number of local training courses covering such items as:
- Digital Photography (introductory/intermediate level).
- Photography without a darkroom (intermediate/advanced level).
- Technical aspects include: digital cameras, scanning film, printing and Colour management.
- Photoshop for Photographers.
Several online versions of his courses are available on this site. An example from his introductory digital photography course covers Basic Image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2. Over time we hope to add online tutorials based on many of Keith's courses.

A lot of people are trying to bring an understanding of colour management to their business. The advantages, such as 'getting it right first time' can quickly translate into a quicker turnaround -- and increased profitability.
