Image Trends plugins updated to 64bit
Three useful plug-ins from Image Trends have just been updated to 64 bit. (see end of article for update info and special offer for purchase)
ShineOff, PearlyWhites, and Fisheye-Hemi have all been updated with the following enhancements:
- 64 bit support on both the Mac and Windows (inc. Aperture on Mac)
- Faster image processing in both 32 and 64 bit environments
- Reduced memory usage
- Improved multi-core support
The one that I use the most often (Fisheye-Hemi) is the specialist one for processing images taken with a fish-eye lens.
It’s what has made the EF15mm lens a regular for some of my architectural, interior and industrial work. There are versions of the plugin that work best with different focal lengths and sensor sizes.
A quick example, showing me standing in our rather cramped print room with the new iPF8300
And next, the corrected version.
The correction is quite different from that in the photoshop lens correction adjustments.
I’m looking forward to seeing it with the new Canon EF8-15mm fisheye zoom [review]
