A landscape photographer's tourKeith's travels in the Colorado Rockies - September-October 2008Back to Denver from Frisco via Mt EvansOK, up to the bottom of the Mt. Evans road, since it was closed by the snow.Colorado is a great place for a vacation, or just a road trip round the state to photograph some of the scenery. If you've any questions about the hotels/inns/motels where I stayed, then please do feel free to drop me a line.
Just a quick blog to finish things off :-) Rather than just drive back to Denver along I-70, we turned off towards the Mt Evans road Still a few Fall colours, despite the snow.
Up at 11,000 feet there was a bit more snow This is echo Lake at the entrance to the Mt Evans Road. Unfortunately closed
A bit further on (Juniper Pass) there was quite a bit of snow
You can clearly see the level of the snow in this view of the mountains to the East
I'll tidy up the blog and maybe add a few missing pictures when I'm back in the UK I'm hoping to have a review of the GX200 in a few weeks, in fact over the next couple of months you should be seeing a lot of pictures from this trip appearing in new reviews. >> Next Day >> Heading back to the UK (final pics) 27th September >>28th September >>29th September >>30th September>>1st October>>2nd October>>3rd October>>4th October>>5th October>>6th October>>7th October>>8th October>>9th October>>10th October>>11th October>>12th October>>13th October>>14th October Other travel blogs
